WOSE

 It's been busy busy busy here at Blue Hills College - Construction fences, concrete, bricks etc. All quite exciting!

Last week we had our week of spiritual emphasis (WOSE), a special week where we focus on God. During the week we had chapels every morning, singing songs and listening to our guest speaker, Pr Brett Townend. A big thanks to Pr Brett for sharing his time and effort with us. I know I really enjoyed his talks and it seems the students did too.

The theme of the week was 'Gods Masterpiece', based around Ephesians 2:10 . We are created by God, his handiwork, to do the good things he has planned for us. 

One of the daily messages that spoke to me was one on forgiveness - we are God's masterpiece and we have access to the creator. He sent his Son to die so that we may live - and all we have to do to recieve forgiveness is ask!

Yesterday the yr 10 bible class visited the Alstonville Retirement Village, to sing songs and have a chat to the residents there. It was great to see the faces of the elderly residents light up during the songs and especially when talking to the students. 

It is great to see God at work at BHC and to see the students passing his love on. Try passing a bit of God's love on to someone else today!
