What Is Pre-Kindy?
Pre-Kindy is a school readiness program for children who will attend school the following year. To be eligible to attend Blue Hills College (BHC) children need to have turned 4yrs old by March 31st in the year they attend. Our Pre-Kindy classes provide a curriculum-based program for four year olds. Children are exposed to the Early Stage One outcomes that they will be expected to master in Kindergarten through play-based, hands-on and integrated activities

Learning Through Play
The course has been specifically designed to meet the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of children in a fun and engaging way. Rich learning experiences and meaningful relationships lay the foundation for each child’s development. The program is delivered by qualified and experienced teachers and staff. The interactive and responsive structure of BHC’s Pre-Kindy program prepares children for school and for life-long learning.
Enrolment Information
To enrol at Blue Hills College (BHC) all students are required to complete an application for enrolment form which is available from the college office, or from this website (see below). We value families, and believe it is the combined effort of the school and family that completes a child’s education. It is important therefore, that each family meets with the school principal prior to enrolment.

Scholarships
Our scholarship program provides active support to high achieving students in the areas of academics, music and sport. These scholarships recognise and affirm high achievers and are aimed at encouraging a community of students who will strengthen and support our culture of excellence. In addition to our scholarship awards, because BHC does not want financial hardship to be the primary reason for students not being able to attend our College, we offer a number of Financial Support Bursaries. These bursaries are open to all families with students enroled in Kindy to Year 12.
